Approach

I aim to connect with you using an empathetic, accepting, inclusive, and non-judgmental stance in our relationship. I affirm and celebrate differences including body positivity, sex/kink positivity, LGBTQIA, ethical non-monogamy, and neurodiverse identities. I take a trauma informed approach to acknowledge how traumas across the lifespan may impact symptoms now. I strive to help clients heal from their past and build their inner resilience, strength, and empowerment. I also take a cultural and identity-informed approach that recognizes how intersectional identities impact my clients. More specifically, I utilize evidence-based therapies including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Gottman Couples Therapy.
